I fear this is a ploy on Dell's part to make me buy new cartridges before the old ones are empty. Currently according to the messages I have run out of ink, but it's still printing documents perfectly. Thirdly, the ink cartridges seem to empty very quickly and there are annoying pop-up messages which appear on the screen towards the end of the cartridge's life.

Secondly the driver CD which came with the printer installed Corel Photo Album 6 onto my system as the default jpg reader. I have to therefore unplug the printer before I can use any other device which uses a USB port.
